Description of dialogue:

This semester’s final round table discussion of the Thursday Dialogue series will be an informal conversation about the transition from academia to industry. The discussion will be led by Futures Initiative fellow, doctoral candidate, and IBM employee Michelle Morales, who will speak about her experiences interviewing for both internship and full-time industry positions. Michelle will discuss her personal experience highlighting key transferable skills that made her transition to industry possible. She will then lead attendees through a collaborative activity to help identify attendee’s key skills as well as highlight potential opportunities.
