I was delighted to join the Graduate Center’s Director of Media Relations, Tanya Domi, on January 15, 2020 to record an episode of The Thought Project podcast. In our 30-minute conversation, we talked about Putting the Humanities Ph.D. to Work: Thriving in and Beyond the Classroom, which will be published by Duke University Press in July 2020. We also discussed the new $3.15 million grant to the Graduate Center from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support the CUNY Humanities Alliance. In this new iteration of the program, the alliance is expanding to partner with three additional CUNY community colleges (along with LaGuardia Community College, the original partner): Borough of Manhattan Community College, Guttman Community College, and Hostos Community College.
