Hello everyone! I am thrilled to join the Futures Initiative (FI) community as your new Digital Director and a 2026–2027 Futures Initiative Fellow.

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the CUNY Graduate Center, advised by Professor Anita Raja. As a member of the Distributed Artificial Intelligence Research (DAIR) Lab—founded by Professor Raja in 2013—I work alongside researchers exploring machine learning, distributed computing, complex networks, clinical informatics, and reasoning under uncertainty.

My dissertation research focuses on building reliable AI systems, specifically through safe AI system refactoring and robustness evaluation. What excites me most about joining the Futures Initiative is how closely its mission—advancing equity and innovation in higher education across CUNY—aligns with my own work at the intersection of technology and equity.

During my time with FI, I look forward to exploring how emerging technologies can support interdisciplinary collaboration, student-centered pedagogy, and public engagement, while supporting our digital presence and community spaces. I’m excited to connect and collaborate with you all this year!
