Designing Higher Ed from the Outside In–and Out Again
Yesterday, Group 4 tackled not just inner space but architecture, turning what has been called the most “vile classroom” at the GC into an interactive, multipurpose, lovely space. I wish we’d been meeting down there the whole term! Here’s another inspirational school, K-12, designed by listening to the kids. Very cool: https://vimeo.com/115357679
Cathy, I’m so glad you posted this – it fits in so gracefully with the Ira Shor piece we will be discussing on how students choose to use a classroom space (and how they choose to take up the space they occupy). We will miss you on Tuesday!
