Futures Initiative Events

All Spring 2022 Futures Initiative Events:

The Futures Initiative is pleased to partner with HASTAC to offer events, webinars, and Twitter chats designed to tie student-centered, engaged pedagogical practices to institutional change and social justice. We will pay special attention to race, gender, diversity, equity, and inequality—and to rethinking the higher education we so urgently need now. These events connect to a collection of team-taught courses offered at the Graduate Center each year.

Upcoming Futures Initiative Events:

Is Graduate School For Me?

This is the first part of a 3-part series. Hear from current CUNY graduate students about their experiences, tips and everything in between. Join us for a Q+A discussion. The first segment of this series will focus on master’s level degrees. Learn about funding, personal statements, recommendation letters, work/life balance and so much more. You don’t want to miss this exciting workshop!

Provost Steve Everett, The CUNY Graduate Center, will open the discussion.
