Judy Wei is a Ph.D. student in Computational Chemistry at the CUNY Graduate Center, where she investigates proton and electron transfer in photosynthetic bacterial reaction centers using all-atom molecular dynamics simulations and Monte Carlo Sampling. She is passionate about the biotech and biopharma industries and is eager to contribute to drug discovery by applying her training and internship experiences to accelerate the discovery process with computational tools. Additionally, Judy serves as an adjunct physics instructor at City College of New York. She is deeply committed to empowering girls and underrepresented students in STEM. As an educator, she strives not only to share knowledge but also to inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and cultivate a classroom environment where all students feel seen, heard, and supported. In her spare time, Judy enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, practicing hot yoga, and running.
