Communications Director
Megan Henriquez is a PhD candidate in Biological Anthropology at the Graduate Center, CUNY. Through her collaboration with the University of Calgary, she currently studies the infection patterns and transmission of gastrointestinal parasite in wild capuchin monkeys from Costa Rica. She has partnered with the American Museum of Natural History, the Wildlife Conservation Society, the New York Academy of Sciences, and more, to teach and create innovative programming for New York City youth to engage with the sciences in meaningful and impactful ways. She brings her passion for making STEM careers accessible and equitable for underserved communities to the Futures Initiative, where she serves as a Graduate Fellow and Communications Director.
