Irene Morrison-Moncure is a PhD student in Classics and a MAGNET Fellow with the Office of Educational Opportunity and Diversity at the Graduate Center, CUNY. She received her BA in Classics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia in 2011. Her interests include Roman epic, Latin pedagogy, and nature imagery and simile in poetry. She also serves as the Assistant Director of Student Programs for Ascanius: The Youth Classics Institute.
